Innovazione e tradizione in mostra alla Milano Jewelry Week

L’imperdibile evento dedicato al mondo della gioielleria ha arricchito Milano per una settimana indimenticabile.

Si è conclusa una settimana fa la quarta edizione della Milano Jewelry Week, patrocinata dal Comune di Milano, Assogemme, CNA Artistico e Tradizionale, CNA Federmoda. Dal 15 al 20 ottobre, la città è diventata il palcoscenico perfetto per oltre 50 eventi che hanno animato le vie del centro, registrando un incremento significativo di presenze nazionali e internazionali.

Il grande interesse da parte degli esperti del settore e della stampa, sia nazionale che internazionale, è stato confermato anche quest’anno, con un numero di visitatori in crescita rispetto alla scorsa edizione. Tra le novità che hanno riscosso maggiore successo, i press e buyers tours, dedicati agli operatori del settore, hanno permesso di scoprire i diversi eventi diffusi in città.

Siamo estremamente soddisfatti dell’entusiasmo dimostrato dai visitatori durante questa edizione della Milano Jewelry Week. Oltre 350 espositori provenienti da 60 Paesi sono stati accolti in prestigiose location nel cuore di Milano, dove si sono svolti i tre eventi collettivi simbolo della Week, insieme a mostre, workshop, performance dal vivo, conferenze e cocktail party.

The Jewelry HUB, tenutosi presso La Pelota, ha permesso ai visitatori di scoprire brand di nicchia e nuove collezioni. Il Talent Show, presso la Scuola Galdus, ha messo in mostra i gioielli dei giovani talenti di scuole e accademie internazionali. Artistar Jewels ha portato a Palazzo Bovara una mostra collettiva con oltre 240 artisti da tutto il mondo, con un’area curata da Harper’s Bazaar, una presentazione digitale “Awe & Alchemy” di ACJ Northern Ireland e i capolavori di Angry Jewellery e Chong Ho.

Il 17 ottobre, Palazzo Bovara ha ospitato il Vernissage di Artistar Jewels, un’intera serata dedicata all’arte della gioielleria e alla celebrazione del decimo anniversario del progetto. Il giorno successivo, si è svolto per la prima volta il Vernissage di The Jewelry HUB, un’occasione per conoscere gli espositori in un’atmosfera rilassata e festosa.

Infine, durante la Milano Jewelry Week ­­­Awarding Night del 16 ottobre, presso il Teatro Lirico Gaber, sono stati annunciati i vincitori degli MJW Awards, prestigiosi premi assegnati da una giuria di esperti agli espositori della Week.

Tra i premi, il Best Jewellery Art & Craft Award è stato consegnato al brand Between the Twigs da Arduino Zappaterra, Presidente nazionale degli Orafi CNA, insieme a Simona Micheli, Responsabile nazionale CNA Artistico e Tradizionale, e Antonio Franceschini, Responsabile nazionale CNA Federmoda. Paolo Cesari, Presidente di Assogemme e CEO di Cesari & Rinaldi Gemmai, ha premiato Cindy Xu Eternal Jewellery con il Best in Gemstone.

Il premio Best Trend è stato assegnato a Sal Jewelry da Italo Pantano, Multimedia Director of Harper’s Bazaar Italia. Il Best in Contemporary Jewellery, riconosciuto da ACJ – The Association for Contemporary Jewellery, è andato a Tania Vásquez.

Faith Jewels ha catturato l’attenzione di Muriel Piaser, Founder of PRECIOUS ROOM by MP tradeshow & Muriel Piaser Consulting, che ha conferito il Best Exclusive Jewelry Designer. Il brand è stato inoltre premiato con il Best In Diamond da Agnes Abdullahu, Founder of DiaMondaine Diamantaires Club, e con il Best HRD Global Design Prize da HRD Antwerp.

L’artista Ionian See ha vinto il Bryna Pomp Award, assegnato da Bryna Pomp, Director, MAD About Jewelry, Museum of Arts and Design, e il brand Vualle Jewels si è aggiudicato il Best in Milano, riconoscimento conferito da AOL – Associazione Orafa Lombarda.

Il brand Chaton ha ottenuto il Best Antique Jewelry, assegnato da A.N.T.I.C.O., mentre Atelier Ajour è stato selezionato da Laura Inghirami, Opinion Leader in the world of jewelry e Founder of Donna Jewel, come vincitore del Best in Creativity.

Infine, Shohista Turdiyeva, The Editor & Founder of Jewellery Pursuer, ha decretato come vincitore del Best Jewellery Digital Voice Award I brand Langi Rome, Mehragin Rahmati e ÓDE.

Alcuni premi speciali sono stati riservati agli espositori di Artistar JewelsTalent Show e The Jewelry HUB. Tra questi, Langi RomeK.U.T. Per quanto riguarda il Talent Show Contest, il premio Best Talent By Galdus è stato assegnato a Hannah Craft, Ruichu Yu, Sierra Apicella e Zixuan Ni della scuola Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Gujin e Liqiujun, studenti della China University of Geosciences, si sono aggiudicati rispettivamente i premi Assamblage Awards for Talent Show e Best Talent by INHORGENTA.

Infine, i vincitori del The Jewelry HUB Network sono Angry Jewellery, Federico Bellini, Luxi Lexi INC selezionati da Jade Jewellery e Jenny Halada, Kyan Jewelry e Vitale Jewelry premiati dalla Gioielleria Brunetti.

La serata si è conclusa con una celebrazione della creatività e dell’eccellenza nel campo della gioielleria, rafforzando la comunità internazionale che Milano Jewelry Week ha saputo creare, unendo artisti e professionisti provenienti da tutto il mondo.

Innovation and Tradition on Display at Milano Jewelry Week

The must-see event dedicated to the jewelry world illuminated Milan for an unforgettable week.

 

The fourth edition of Milano Jewelry Week, sponsored by the Municipality of Milan, Assogemme, CNA Artistico e Tradizionale, and CNA Federmoda, concluded a week ago. From October 15 to 20, the city became the perfect stage for over 50 events that enlivened the streets of the city center, recording a significant increase in national and international attendees.

The great interest from industry experts and the press, both national and international, was confirmed again this year, with a growing number of visitors compared to the previous edition. Among the innovations that garnered the most success, the press and buyer tours, dedicated to industry professionals, allowed participants to discover the various events spread across the city.

We are extremely pleased with the enthusiasm shown by visitors during this edition of Milano Jewelry Week. Our goal was to create an event that celebrated the world of jewelry, offering everyone the opportunity to feel part of an international community. Thanks to the participation of experts and enthusiasts, both national and international, we achieved this goal, allowing visitors to appreciate the art and craftsmanship behind each creation.” said Enzo Carbone, CEO of Prodes Italia and founder of Milano Jewelry Week.

Over 350 exhibitors from 60 countries were welcomed to prestigious locations in the heart of Milan, where the three collective events symbolic of the Week were held, along with exhibitions, workshops, live performances, conferences, and cocktail parties.

The Jewelry HUB, held at La Pelota, allowed visitors to discover niche brands and new collections. The Talent Show, at the Galdus School, showcased the jewelry of young talents from international schools and academies. Artistar Jewels brought a collective exhibition to Palazzo Bovara with over 240 artists from around the world, featuring a curated area by Harper’s Bazaar, a digital presentation “Awe & Alchemy” by ACJ Northern Ireland, and masterpieces by Angry Jewellery and Chong Ho.

On October 17, Palazzo Bovara hosted the Vernissage of Artistar Jewels, an entire evening dedicated to the art of jewelry and the celebration of the project’s tenth anniversary. The following day, for the first time, the Vernissage of The Jewelry HUB took place in La Pelota, an opportunity to meet exhibitors in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.

Finally, during the Milano Jewelry Week Awarding Night on October 16, at Teatro Lirico Gaber, the winners of the MJW Awards, prestigious prizes awarded by a jury of experts to the exhibitors of the Week, were announced.
